If I ever find the need for a rear cargo bin, mounting a receiver on the pin box is a definite consideration.

Which cab did you get? Up here at least we cannot get a 6.5' bed in a SuperCrew and a 2.7, just the 3.5, the main reason I went with the 3.5 is I wanted both those things.

Kate, you gotta get into the fifth wheel lingo, there is no tongue so it is hitch weight (or pin weight). :)

There is a king pin attached to a pin box. It is this kinda stuff that sets us 5.0TA...

Most any truck you get well have adequate towing capacity if you ensure it has adequate cargo capacity, which is harder to find.

The total weight is approximately 3885 lbs including hitch weight, plus options. You would have to put a lot of stuff in it and load up tanks to he 5000, but no worries, it is rated for 5500 lbs.
