Yeah, I had the chains connected to the pin box...

Yeah, I had the chains connected to the pin box at first, then read here about attaching to the truck bed. Way easier and no chains hanging off the pin box either. :)

I agree with the comments others have posted about a heavy slide hitch being better than the Anderson. I can have the trailer turned a good 90° from straight and can manoeuvre into the tightest...

It really is not a problem, I just use the chains all the time. Seconds to connect and disconnect, and all is good. :)

BeWhat I love most about the Anderson fifth wheel hitch is I can disconnect...
