I did watch that, and they are definitely on very level ground, something that is a rarity. My point though, was that I never saw them chock the trailer, or even make a suggestion of it, nor did I...

These is my observations from near six years of use with the X-chocks. It seems to differ from what others have observed.

For starters, we love how they stabilize the trailer. We even notice when...

Mike, I have had a vehicle parked in front of my trailer, with a good slope one the drive for 6 1/2 years now. No wedge chocks, only the BAL X-Chocks. No issues either, though I do ensure they are...

I mostly just use the X-Chocks alone, and have had no issues. If I have to crank the hitch up or down a lot, I do release any twisting pressure on them though.

Even though I have the X-chocks, I still want to make a set, as they seem sleeker and more compact. Plus, I think it is a great idea and I like to play (not that I don't have umpteen dozen other...

Good job, Dave. After seeing those Rotochoks I was thinking how simple it would be to make them too.

Those photos explain the difference, Doug. What I have is just a V shaped skirt that is attached to the trailer body. Yours looks way more beefed up. I have to run out now, but will post a wider shot...

I thought the idea of upside down was a good one, and don't see why it wouldn't work. What would get in the way then? The skirt would not go down that far. Got any photos, Doug?

I have never tried just one. I bought a set and loved the effect on stability they had, and just keep using both. I would imagine it helps a bit, though one would definitely make a huge difference on...

I have been using them for a few years now, and really like them too. WAY less movement when walking inside.

We use the wrench that comes with it with no issue. It clears the skirt on the wheels...

Re: BAL X-Chocks

The BAL X-Chocks can be locked with a padlock. I only tighten them to the point they are snugged and won't allow the tires to rotate. If I wanted, I could force them out relatively easy, with a bar...

Re: BAL X-Chocks

Liz, it takes me about a minute to install two X-chocks, and 30 seconds to pull them both out. They are very fast and easy to use. They are one of my favourite purchases for our trailer. Would highly...

Re: BAL X-Chocks

Matt, I would not worry about moisture too much. A wee bot of lubrication would solve any issue, though I have had none this year using them

Re: BAL X-Chocks

USPS is by far my preferred method of shipping out of the US. The combination of them and Canada Post is reasonably priced with no brokerage fees added, reliable and fairly fast.

After quite a few...

Re: BAL X-Chocks

Matt, I ordered these off ebay. LINK (https://shop.ebay.ca/rec-direct/m.html?_nkw=x-chock&_sacat=0&_odkw=&_osacat=0&_trksid=p3911.c0.m270.l1313)
The seller was great to deal with, my only issue with...

Re: BAL X-Chocks

I use them, and they are fantastic. They eliminate 75% of the movement felt using 4 conventional shocks. Seriously, it was the strangest feeling the first time I went into the trailer with them on,...
