Another idea. I saw one of those suction bath/shower handles to aid in getting in or out , that are obviously re-positionable. Could that work without doing any damage? ???

I think that may be one for Reace. Other than reinforcing the fridge cabinet and putting a handle there or attaching some sort of a strap (kind of like they used to have in cars), at another locale,...
