'Tis true. But, I'd like them to be activated and turned off, by opening and closing the cupboard door.

I've installed Sylvania Dot.It lights inside a couple cupboards. They are powered by AA...

One thing to keep in mind is that a place like The Source or Radio Shack ( does that still exist? ) carries a wide selection of power cords and adapters.

I've got 12V extension cords and splitters...

My 12V outlet at the front of the 17B is into the side of the wardrobe, next to the standard AC outlet. I put my Sirius radio dock and/or the Altec Lansing iPod dock on top of the wardrobe when...

Bird books, binoculars, cribbage board, cards, a couple of novels, trailer diary, iPod dock. Where would I put all that without that handy shelf?
