The Catch 22 is that if you need an inverter to run AC appliances, you need a lot of battery capacity. And, if you camp with electric hookups to run those appliances, you don't need the inverter.

I'm surprised that nobody recommending the inverter also recommended a battery bank to run the appliances :laugh: or at least dual 6V.
