I happen to have load range E all terrain tires on my Tacoma, their sidewalls say 80 PSI... but the Tacoma only...

a tires maximum pressure is for the maximum load that tire supports. the correct pressure for the tire is based on the maximum axle load divided by 2, and is the manufacturer's recommended...
