Adjusting E2 Fastway hitch to work with new Tow Vehicle

We used to tow our 2016 Escape 19 (classic) with a Nissan Pathfinder. Towing with the pathfinder, we used the Fastway E2 hitch.

We will now be towing with a 2018 Ford F150 XLT 4X4. We will continue to tow with the Fastway E2 hitch.

Obviously the hitch receiver for the F150 sits much higher than did the one on the Pathfinder. So I'm trying to adjust my hitch so that the trailer will tow level when hooked up.

If you are familiar with the Fastway, you know that you can adjust the hitch height moving it up or down with a series of holes. Currently the hitch is in the top hole, so I'll need to move it down 1 or 2 holes.

I'm wondering what height the top of the ball should be at to tow the trailer level. That will help me to figure out how many holes to move down.

Once I get it set in the correct hole, I can then do the other adjustments needed when moving to a new tow vehicle.
