I opted for TV ready in both locations, and have just installed the mounts. Our intent is to keep the TV stowed as it is rarely used, then install it in the location that works best for us, and I am betting the dinette will see most use.
I literally just installed the mounts this past week so have not used them yet, but at least plan to give it a try on our trip south in a couple weeks.

I have heard of lots of people getting reception without campground connection, which is what we plan to do. In fact, I can't recall many campgrounds with the cable connection, mostly just the private ones which we don't visit often.
There was no way I wanted a fixed antenna either, so I will just use one mounted on my mast if we feel the need. Most often we are just watching recorded stuff anyway.
