And here I thought it would be stopping at our house, Adrian.

The rally definitely had more to offer, that's for sure.

We just spent the last for nights at Summit Lake PP with no cell reception. That was nice, the the rally was WAY more fun.

I know that's not an Escape, but that's a Nk'Mip lakefront site with full service.

Nice lighting Glenn. Here's one Rita took this morning, Cloud Peak in the Bighorns in the background. Note tow level attitude with that mall crawlin' Highlander and the stud at the wheel.

Rally memory

Lunchtime in Oliver B.C. on Saturday of the Rally. There was so much food that it was necessary to up my fluid intake. There were some pretty ladies at this establishment too. The firehouse brew pub or
Something similar. My dream lunch pail. Eric Thompson tried the old pickup line " weren't you in my senior law class at Columbia?" on one of the ladies and she told him to "buzz off!""

Yep -that woman in the green shirt knows ALL my tricks,,,,,

Love the pictures Glenn and Dave. But Dave, isn't it physically impossible for that mall crawler to pull that trailer over those mountains?

Missing woman formation

Rita was missing from the beginning. After 47 years she takes every opportunity to be "left out of the picture" and she'd rather hear the dog bark than another repeat from me. I look at rallies as "new meat" especially unsuspecting trailer tour participants who stop by.

After we pulled several passes in Montana on our honeymoon/ report for a job trip in the spring of 1970
with the F-1 pickup with the 60 horse flathead mill , I knew I was ready for any of life's challenges regarding driving, double clutching, vacuum wipers, holes in the floorboards and hauling 4 spare tires. The words of my old man running through my head,
"Don't burn yourself out in June, you won't be worth a damn all summer." So "easy does it" it has been from then on. And "Use your head for something besides a hat rack". Saved me several times.
Dave

Great job on the photos, Len. I enjoyed looking them over.

Just a note that your Brown Bear (Grizzly) is actually a Black Bear, brown in colour. They can be blond, cinnamon, red, brown and black.
