Most of the Escapes are in one group, the exception are those that needed or wanted power sites, those are a short distance away

Jim my photography is pretty average to poor I shall let Jon take lots especially of that elusive Donna D
We're not sure about Osoyoos for 2019. Our daughter has booked us for the month of April in FL and have got health insurance to May 14 but just maybe we can skip going home and go FL to BC.

There is a good chance a documentary film crew may be there, we also have certified drone pilots who will be filming .... not to mention about 1000 participants all with cameras.

Dear Friends! Judy and I are leaving in a few hours for the Big Trip and the 50th Boler Event in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Rather than posting pics and stories to my Facebook Timeline, other groups and forums, I've decided to write a blog. I've never written a blog and know nothing about WordPress! Please be understanding. Writing will be conversational, grammatically INcorrect, but I hope to post lots of interesting photos to make up for it!
I've turned on Comments, but won't know if THAT is working until the blog actually starts. And I may not have time to answer right away so don't feel like I'm ignoring you if you post a comment. Feel free to send me an PM too. I'll respond as time allows. The rest of the pages are up and active. Feel free to look around.
To make the blog easy to remember, I'm using a domain I've owned for a very long time: GlassIsClass.com Those that own an all-molded-towable will understand the connection.

For those interested, I have started a series of pages of photographs of the rally: Boler 50th Anniversary. I'll add to it as the rally progresses.

Although I'm not attending, but I thought there was supposed to be several 'caravans' via various routes to this event? Did this ever materialize? Something like a group of 10 trailers traveling together to the event starting from various US and Canadian locations?

Hi: Vermilye... "Thanks for the memories"... We've had the honour of ownership. A '77 and a '73 but alas we've escaped with just our memories. Alf

Yes those caravans happened! There is a Facebook group I've been following called Boler 50th Anniversary Event and Caravan that is very entertaining. Lots of very cute Bolers creatively painted to match tow vehicles. I'm vicariously enjoying the event while stuck in the house because my lungs don't appreciate the unhealthy air quality from all the fires!

You cannot do any scrolling through Jon's pictures. His album doesn't seem to have that ability. Can only hit the back button and then select the next frame. I have worked around this by just making the entire page of pictures larger on the screen using the zoom button on my browser.

Unfortunately, Jon (me) uses old fashion HTML rather than cascading style sheets for putting the photo pages together. I was, until this morning, having extremely slow internet connections, and while more difficult to scroll through the photos, it does have far less code & uploads faster.
My internet problems seem to have been solved, so I will probably link to an easier to view version for the next pages. Until then, the only way to go to a large image is by clicking on the small version, then using the back button on your browser.
