Natchitoches Louisiana Gathering Dec 4,5,6 2023
We will be having an informal fiberglass gathering this December 4,5,6 at Grand Ecore RV Park near historic Natchitoches Louisiana, some campers will arrive sooner and leave later (informal)
The park has full hookups at every site and an extremely nice bathhouse with individual private bathrooms/showers.
It will be during the town's annual light festival, there are nice museums, historic sites, restaurants, night river cruise, etc.

For clarification the dates are arrival Monday Dec 4 and departing Thursday Dec 7.
There's still plenty of nice sites available with slots for an earlier arrival and later departure.
Please post what site your going to be in.
Thanks and we're looking forward to meeting some Escape owners.

Natchitoches Louisiana fiberglass gathering Dec 4-6 2023
We're only a few weeks away from the first Natchitoches La (1714) fiberglass trailer gathering at Grand Ecore RV Park, so far we have approximately 14 trailers consisting of Escapes and Casitas.
There are three of the large pull through sites and ten regular sites still available.
The anticipated Christmas Lights Cane river cruise is currently on hold due to the low water conditions of this years drought, it's still spectacular to see the lights come alive at dusk, visit the quaint shops, restaurants, and museums.
A must see is the Kaffie Frederick Hardware store founded in 1863.
There will be an informal meet and greet "happy hour" at 5.00 on Monday in site 12 hosted by David and Alice, we will have welcome packets provided by the Natchitoches Convention and Visitors Bureau.
We're looking forward to meeting new and old camping friends.

Natchitoches Festival Carriage tours
I spoke to the Tourist Commission about the Christmas Lights Festival tour boat during the light festival and they said it won't be running due to the low water, but said the alternative most tourists are doing is the horse drawn carriage and electric carriage tours just like the ones in New Orleans.
Below are the 2 carriage companies in town:
• Cane River Carriage Company - Guy (601) 807-9086, horse drawn carriages (3) Each carriage carries 8-9 passengers
The Venue on Front Street, electric carriages (2) https://thevenueonfrontstreet.com/

A nice pull through site (24) along the back overlooking the woods has become available due to a cancellation (non fiberglass trailer)
Site 10 looks like it's also available.
If someone prefers a different site they could call the park.
Looking forward to seeing everyone next week.

It looks like there are three pull through sites and about eight back in sites.
The sites are booked through their website or phone.
It would be great to have a Bigfoot in attendance.

Hey Stan
You listed Fairview Riverside and around that area of travel is the Fontainebleau State Park witch is of good size as well as beauty.
Might be what you're looking for.
