Quartzsite anyone?

I see the annual fiberglass rally at Dome Rock, Quartzsite, AZ has been tentatively scheduled but can find no chirping/further details on who might be supervising it, or even if this rally is going to happen. Rally date posted on Fiberglass RV is February 7-13, 2022. The last one I attended attracted over 200 eggs and was great. If the stars are properly aligned I am hoping to be there.

It was my understanding that after Greg stepped down as Wagon Master that there wouldn't actually be an organized event. Just a bunch of folks who like the meet n' greet event that is Q'site.

We'll probably show up then, depends if we go to Baja before that and other factors. These are strange times that we're living in now and it's hard to make future plans with any degree of certainty.

While unorganized, there is some planned activities. Arizona Eileen will be organizing the Dome Rock Swap Meet, Saturday, Feb 12th, 8-10am, and there is lots of activity (4 pages worth) concerning the rally at the Casita Travel Trailer Forum. You may have to sign up to visit, but it is free...

I'll be at the Long Term Visitor area starting on December 9th, and will move to Dome Rock in early February.

We want to visit Q in January and possibly February and would love to meet other owners. Does one need to make reservations for the long term area.

It's all on BLM land, wide and open, free and clear so no reservations. Weather usually sunny and pleasant except when it's not, but cool at night. Best advice is never leave home without your long pants and hooded sweatshirt.

Reservations are not necessary or even available. You purchase a pass at one of the 4 gates (at Quartzsite) for $40.00 for two weeks, repeatable, or $180.00 for the season (7 months, October to April.) There are no assigned sites. You just pick out your piece of 8000 acres.

No sign in to read the posts and the Webmaster's #1 post is a pretty good summary.

Looks like there's a lot of buy in from the Casita crowd.

Since you have a flare for culinary treats, I'm going to try and bring some Scrapple to Osoyoos next May and offer a taste....https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scrapple
