Antenna to solar panel

I want to remove my TV Ready with a solar panel, has anyone done this? If how do I do it, and make it look good?

Remove TV antenna and install solar panel

I don't watch tv, so I want to remove it and want to install a solar panel and not make it look bad. I will have the exterior holes repaired, but don't know what to do with the interior control.

Not sure of your question. TV ready has nothing to do with your solar panel? Are you asking about removing tv antenna and replacing with a solar panel?

Yes, there is a rotating TV antenna on the roof and I want to take it off and install a solar panel. I already have one from Escape.

So, you already have a solar panel installed and you want to install another where the TV antennae is?

I don't have a clear picture of what you're proposing but if it involves basically a single point attachment to the center of the panel I'd say don't even think about it.

The aero forces at highway speeds would likely bring major grief.

If you don't want to mount it on the roof in a conventional way then use it as a portable panel.

I did this. Pulled the antenna off but left the useless controller in the ceiling.
