Thumbs up Bookmarking posts and comments

I know it is possible to subscribe to a thread and that is nice because you can get notified when someone posts to that thread. But sometimes I see a mod or something I want to try or look into and I don't want to scroll through looking for that one post I need. I just found out you can bookmark a post to your internet browser. If you bookmark the first post of a thread, you will get the entire thread, but if you bookmark, say post #27 of that thread, you jump right to that post (and get the rest of the thread).

Or you can bookmark a photo that is in a post if you just need a visual reminder of what you want to do.

Good to know!

I like to use Microsoft "One Note" for all things Escape / Camping related. You can organize things however you like for example: maintenance record, modifications, maintenance supplies, specs, trip itineraries, reservation info, etc. You can paste in pictures, screen grabs, web links, pdf's, excel files, etc.

The best part is that it is all stored "in the cloud" so you can access from your home PC, tablet, cell phone, etc, anywhere.

There are other note taking apps out there that basically work the same (e.g., Evernote).

Amen. One Note is the best note taking app I've run across.

Oops. I didn’t tell you how to do it. Right click on the post number and choose bookmark. Rename it, then if you your bookmarks organized, choose the folder where you want it and choose it. I have never used One Note. Is it free?

You betcha. This saying is probably true though: "If you aren't paying for the product, you are the product". I guess I don't care since I'm a boring old man and not a very interesting or compelling "product".
