5.0 TA made it home to so cal

We are truly in love with our Escape 5.0 !!! We had a little rough start leaving Chilliwack on Jan 11th (Thursday) due for to a heavy snow storm. Tammy suggested we wait till the next day that the weather should be better, which we did and she was right. We had planned to stay in Sumas but due to the delay we made it to Sequim, WA late the next day and stayed at Gilgal Oasis RV park(which is fabulous). We were planning to stay there for a week, learn the trailer, visit family, and then start the journey home. We had a computer issue with our EMS electrical and of course it was the weekend and all we could do is leave a message for Escape. The owner of Gilgal, Frank my husband the retired electrician who brought his multi meter of course, were able to know what was wrong by the time Monday morning came and a long conversation with Reese resulted in a decision to send Frank the part and we were able to override the EMS. By the way, the EMS was working at orientation. Reese sent the unit to our family and Frank installed it and we were good to go. One piece of advice we heard from you wonderful people, for California DMV registration, go to Mt Shasta DMV, personable, AND fast. We had a fun trip home, spending 2 more weeks, learning and exploring. We are ready to go again!!!

Fantastic,Suzy! and congratulations on making it home in the dead of winter. GilGal was our second stop too. It is a very nice park. I think we spent 3 nights there before heading down the Olympic Coast. Glad Shasta DMV was good for you. Now you and Frank have the bonus of the whole year ahead of you

It is your Progressive Industries Electrical Management System option, it monitors the cg electric and prevents dirty electricity from entering the trailer as well as spikes and surges and over/under voltage issues.

I remember when Turkey Point went online there were people concerned about radiation leaking from their power outlets. Is the dirty power caused by the power co burning old Playboy and Penthouse and Hustler magazines in their boiler?
