Considering Escape 17B in So Calif -- would love to see one
I'm just beginning to shop for 17' Escape or Casita. I have the opportunity to see a Casita this weekend, 2 in fact, 1 if I wanted to buy, 1 just because. I'd love to see an Escape at some point soon, to really get a sense of the similarities and differences.
Have any of you bought new? Is it the easier way to go, or do used ones come up often?
We bought our 17B new, and wouldn't make any significant changes if we were to do it again. Escape makes a great trailer and the very favorable exchange rate currently makes them a great buy. Be sure you factor in the exchange rate as you compare used prices to new.
If you call the escape office, they can put you in touch with owners of 17b in your area who are willing to show their trailers. I believe there are a couple nearby.

Used trailers do come up from time to time. Here's a link to one on the Escape Forum in the for sale section.
