Hi Sandra, thanks! Yeah, I've got so many note already, they're practically talking to each other!
I did understand that about the font being only for your name, rbryan4. I just came up with my name though probably used before: "I Did It My Way"

It signals that that is the name and not just some random words.
Mine says Toad, not "Toad". Pretty much the only thing I regret.

Do boats have quote marks around the names on their transoms or each side of their bows? Maybe it's just a matter of convention - people expect a name on a boat, but not an RV.

I think a lot of RV's are getting names on them but the best name I ever saw on pretty fancy boat was, "Poverty Sucks". Have a picture of that one. Loren

Best I've seen on a sailboat was "Funky Fathom"
It was up on a sand-bar. Apparently the owner couldn't read charts.

Question is, is the name of the boat or RV competing with graphics and branding? If it is, then quotes help identify the "name". I don't have the quotes, but at least the name is over the rear window, away from Escape branding.
Another signal is to use a type-face that is sufficiently different from the ETI branding.
Keep in mind that I was design-editor for a major newspaper for eight years, and you know where newspapers are headed.

You got out just in time.
I don't suppose quotes are correct but I know what you mean. A different font would be good instead. No matter what is used, there is the chance that it becomes associated with ETI as a slogan or model name or similar. Nothing to do about that. Remember the guy who put the big lipstick smear on the back in fake graphics? Even that would be attributed to ETI, the way advertising is these days.

Loren, the cool think about using the forum to help you make decisions with your build is that everything on your trailer is there or not there because of a conscious decision that you made. Others may make other decisions, but that is for their trailer. Better to make a wrong decision after careful thought than just to make a bad (or incorrect in hindsight) decision randomly!
