Escapee wannabe's
Greetings. New to the forum. We've recently decided to purchase an Escape as our plans are to road trip and explore. Have researched trailers, and Escape is our preferred choice. The Big Foot is a close 2nd. Looking for 17b. Looking forward to learning about the trailer via this forum.

Welcome, Eric and Ev! You are certainly at the right place...both literally and figuratively. All the answers are here or close by in Chilliwack. Again, welcome.

Welcome to the forum and congrats on your decision. If you haven't already done so, make a point of taking the factory tour (Fridays at noon) and also make a point of talking to Tammy and/or Reace. It should give you confidence that you have made a good choice. I find that so much of our Escape is superior to the similarly sized Nash trailer we owned, not to mention the obvious issue it had with leaks. Are you looking for a used 17b?

Hi Eric and Ev, welcome to the forum.
We looked at the BF too. If they hadn't been a questionable company, having just started building campers again under new ownership, and had a real queen size bed, we may have gone that route. In the end we decided to save the $10k, and the weight, and go with an Escape.

Have they started the tours up again? Last I heard they weren't due to the new building going up and other reasons. That'd be great if they were back on again as my dad's coming to visit in January and he'd love to take a tour.
