Hello from Texas

Hi there, we’re Shawn and Jen. Thank you for allowing us to join. We have only tent camped, but have set our sights on a fiberglass egg for retirement adventures. We haven’t seen an Escape in person yet, but as of now, it tops our wish list. We’ve been maintaining our own sailboat for many years, so are familiar with many systems that are similar between marine and RV, but know there are differences we need to learn about, and hope to learn more here on this forum.

Welcome Shawn and Jen. You're definitely in for a treat with an Escape. You'll find plenty of info here. Enjoy!

You are very close to the Lewisville delivery spot.............

You might be able to see all the models in a short time........

Post up a request for folks with deliveries going there..........

Yea, it's a bit hectic during delivery time, but...........?

Welcome to our little community!

The folks here love their Escapes & are extremely knowledgeable about all related things. My Escape, a 2022 5.0, was also my first trailer, so I too had to learn all about RVs in general, as well as specifics relating to Escapes. Many sleepless nights noodling on this forum paid off, as I love the trailer & haven't mucked up anything major. Almost anything you might want to know is covered here somewhere.

If you can get to a rally (there's a section here on the forum listing them), you can likely look at the different models all in one place, ask questions, & might even find a unit for sale (there were 3 for sale at the Niagara Wine Escape last weekend).

Happy hunting!

One great way to view an Escape is to attend a campground rally. Another is to contact ETI in BC and ask them for info of owners close to you; some owners have volunteered to show off their precious babies (I mean, trailers ) upon request.

Hi there and welcome! In addition to the ambassador program, Escape Trailer Industries can also arrange a personal video tour if you like.

D and I'd been camping in our old Trillium for years. We loved our little fibreglass trailer but knew we needed something bigger with bathroom etc going forward. Our new Escape trailer is perfect for us and we couldn't be happier. Like others here, we spent quite a bit of time at this forum reading and learning. There wasn't an ambassador in our area, but we never really felt the need or for a video tour. The floor plans of the various trailers on ETI's website as well as lists of standard features and options give a really good idea of what to expect. It still felt a bit weird to drive all the way to Chilliwack to pick up a fairly major purchase never having seen it in person. After camping a few times in our little baby this past summer, we have absolutely no regrets and are looking forward to future adventures.

Take care & have fun,
Paul

If you are ever down around Austin, I'm NW of there a bit "up-river / Spicewood / Lake Travis area" and can show you a E19.

We have a 5.0 TA, and we're in Texas for the next 4 days.
