We just placed a deposit on a 5.0 for an April 2021 time slot. We have considerable camping experience, backpacking and tent camping when we were younger and a Casita in retirement. We picked up the Freedom Deluxe in January 2016 in Rice, TX and typically go south in the winter for about 2 months and the northeast during the summer for shorter trips. We replaced our aging Tacoma last year with a new F150 2.7 EcoBoost supercab and 6.5 bed specifically because it was well equipped as a 5.0 TV. Our camping style is well established and we have a pretty good idea of options, but I'm sure we will have questions. Thanks for all the advice and opinions I've been reading on this forum, and we are excited to be part of this community.

We have never owned a truck or camping trailer before (tent campers), so I pepper the board with all kinds of novice and naive questions. Look forward to your questions and experience!
