Hi everyone. We actually put the down payment on our 19 back in April and I have been monitoring the forum since then putting together our build sheet. The new production schedule has our delivery in February now. Can you spell excited? Thanks to members old and new whose ideas and feedback helped us make our build sheet, this is an awesome group. We're naming our 19 "Cattyshack" since we will be traveling with our two felines (Feline Frisky was my choice but lost out...)
Our biggest challenge will be finding a good weather window and the best driving route in early March to head to Chilliwack from Asheville NC. I'm a computer and electronics guy so I will be doing more research and playing with automation in the trailer using Arduino's or Raspberry Pi's. Should be fun and I'll post if I come up with something useful.
Welcome Nelson and Debra,
If you return by mid April there will be a rally near you in Townsend , Tn attended by many fellow Escape owners. A good chance to meet in person those owners both on and off the forum and see their units for ideas.

for this camper hoping the urge to solder something doesn't happen on the road...however at one point considered replacing the front bed in the Escape 21 with a lab bench and chair!
Good for you! That is difficult to find a good time to get that big distance from NC. With warmer winters, it may be possible though. You will be spending a lot of time looking at the weather! Hope you can come back via the coast on some long route.
