Jackie in Indiana - If you go to the ETI Inventory page:
https://escapetrailer.com/inventory/ ...
Even though it shows none available, go ahead and click on any model of interest to see recently sold trailers. Then click on the "
USA build sheet / specifications" for any trailer (because you are a
USA resident purchaser). Scroll down on that sheet to see the 'extra fees' itemized in
US dollars for a
USA purchaser.
Here's an example, the only 'Extra Fees' being a $160 USD "Importation Fee" (for US customers only) and a $16 USD "Tire Levy".
Those are the latest / most current actual-cost examples for a USA purchaser
with delivery (you you take delivery) at Sumas, WA. That's the
total drive-away price you will pay
ETI and includes everything - there is no other 'hidden' fee you will be required to pay US or Canadian customs or a 'broker', etc. - that's
all taken care of by ETI and included in the price you pay ETI as shown on those trailer-specific build-sheets.
Any license, registration, taxes etc you may be required to pay your local authorities is up to you to figure out separately based on local requirements in your specific jurisdiction.
Delivery to a location other than Sumas is an additional separate Extra, there's info about that elsewhere on the ETI website.
If you're a Canadian resident, pick the Canadian a build sheet / specifications to see your 'extra fees' (which are different from those for USA purchasers).
Nope, if a USA resident purchaser, don't even bother to look at Canadian prices, ETI won't sell to you on that basis under any circumstances (that ETI policy is the subject of another forum thread,
not this one); nor will they deliver a trailer to, or allow pick-up by, a US resident customer on the Canadian-side of the border.
ETI's friendly sales staff will be glad to give you all this info first-hand via telephone or email inquiry. BTDT.
Hope that helps, Happy Shopping!
