Hello Baja, your Escape looks Terrific. But I too am in Western Canada. Have you looked into any means to get it cross the border, delivered, etc? And are there any duties, taxes or tariffs?
Stay well. Thank you people : ) Jerry 403-870-6201

Hi Jerry - Thanks for the inquiry. We have not looked into transferring the trailer and associated costs across the border. The good folks at Escape LTD may be able to offer some advice.

Hello Texas - Our Escape 19 does not have AC. The MaxxFan always worked well for us. If AC is a requirement, you may consider one of the several new portable countertop units given how well the trailer is insulated. Feel free to give me a call if you have any other questions.

Hello Baja-
Do you use a weight distribution set-up?
I've been looking for such a trailer to go with my Tacoma!
Thanks.

Hi there, we are traveling to southwest Oregon for a new job, so would be interested in viewing your Escape en-route. We will be traveling from Montana on the last week of July (27th to 30th). Please send information on how we can contact you to make arrangements to visit - either via this forum, or to debbie.drews@hotmail.com.

Thanks, D.

Interested in your E 19. Does it have a lift kit? What is measurement from lowest point to ground? Want to take to NF campgrounds.

Jerry, I asked the same question a week or so ago in the new member intro section. Thought I'd go ahead and copy what I found out here, to help you out. This is info I got from someone in the US who bought from Canada.

Apologies if this is considered 'hijacking' the thread or otherwise poor etiquette to post this info here, but I figured I'd share any useful information I have - because as a newbie, it ain't much! Anyway:

- Used BorderBuddy as broker. (I checked out website and used their calculator; looks like about $600 for a trailer valued at $30K US)
- proofread VIN and address! They'd made clerical errors that caused headaches.
- Hired BC towing company to bring it across to the US.
- tower must have a 7501 stamped at customs, make sure you contact your state DOT about forms you must get from seller.
- need temp tag and registration from your state DOT and send copies to owner
- cost poster about $1,100 in broker, towing and personal travel cost.

Jon - We tow the Escape 19 with a Jeep Grand Cherokee - V6. It has more than enough performance and capability. However, as a precaution, we did install a load stabilizer system for high speed travel... a good precaution. g
