Propane hose fitting size
what size fitting is on the Escape main gas pipe where the hose from the regulator adapts ? I know the regulator uses a 3/8" FNPT, so you want a 3/8 MNPT on that end of the hose, but what about the other end ?

and about how long should that hose be?
