We have only had our E19 for a year. We travel with a full fresh water tank and empty black and grey tanks, mainly to keep our hitch weight below the threshold that would require us to us a weight distributing hitch. So far, no issues. In the future, we will be boondocking more so that will be another reason.

We usually travel with a full fresh water tank, and empty grey/black tanks, although we have traveled with a day or two of used water in the capture tanks if no dump station or just a short drive.
Hated getting to campgrounds where they had to shut down the water supply for repairs.

Agree with Jim, we have full fresh water and empty grey and black. There's been a couple of times where the campground did not have what we expected but we were prepared and ok.

My trailer has a 100-gallon fresh water tank located behind the rear axle. The 50-gallon black and grey tanks are located forward of the axles. I always leave on a trip with a full fresh water tank and empty waste tanks. A half-empty fresh water tank will slosh enough to gently rock the trailer, but it has never caused a towing stability problem. If I were towing my trailer with a pickup I would be concerned about the 800+ pounds of water, but my Kenworth doesn't care. I like knowing my trailer has the same water I get from my home water taps.
