TH Stone Florida & Savana Ga
We are headed for TH Stone State Park on the Florida panhandle for a few days and back through Savana, Georgia on the way back. Anything not to miss or other suggestions?
What about best campground around Savanna for a couple of days?

We haven't stayed there yet, but last time we were in Savannah, we drove through Skidaway Island State Park, looked pretty nice. And if you have any interest in Civil War history, Fort Pulaski is very interesting.
We stayed here for 3 nights or so. It’s nothing like a state park, but it is on a farm and in close proximity to Savannah- we liked it pretty well....I think for a few days and close to Savannah- if that’s what your plan is - it would be great. I’m not sure but I think they have trolly type transportation that takes you into Savannah.

We used Skidaway a few years back, I'll use it again next time, it was nice. Took the carriage ride to the old pink house restaurant, fantastic food but not cheap. If you go there ask for a tour of the building.
We liked Skidaway Island SP Campgrounds and the History Museum in Savannah
The museum is in an old railroad depot and we found it very interesting.
As far as Florida , we cannot be of much help.
We have stayed at TH Stone a few times and it is really amazing. The camping areas are nice and it is a 1 or 2 minute walk to great beaches. Sugar white sand for miles and miles. From the camping area north there is only foot traffic with a trail in the middle through the largest dunes you will find anywhere on the gulf. Many of the dunes are hundreds of feet high and forested and the trail goes most of the 6 miles to the north point but it is really slow going in deep sand. The bay side is quite calm most of the time and is great for kayaking or digging clams. The white sand beach goes the 6 miles to the north tip and you can walk for hours and rarely see anyone. The 12 mile round trip up the beach can be a rather exhausting adventure depending on how well the sand is packed. We were there in November and the Stable Flies were really bad. Almost none in the campground but can be really, really bad on the beach depending on the wind direction. If you have on shoes, long pants and long sleeve shirt you will be covered in flies from the waist down but not get any bites. They don't seem to be able to bite through clothing and like to stay below the waist. They are bad some months and not others. That being said I will go back and do recommend it to others. It has one of the darkest sky's around.
