Cot Height?

Can anyone give me the height between the dinette cushion and the bottom of the cot in a 19 or 21NE? Cannot tell from the pictures on the site if anyone can sleep under the cot or would want to.

Yes, one can sleep under the cot, it's designed with that in mind. One of our kids usually takes that spot and is fine with it. I'm not sure of the exact measurement in our 19, but I would *guess* around 16 inches from the dinette cushion to the bottom of the cot with someone in it. Probably not optimal if one leans towards the claustrophobic end of the spectrum, but for our kids it's been fine.

How many kids can sleep on the dinette and cot combined? Is the cot only for kids or will it accommodate adults? How comfortable is the cot? Thanks!

The lower dinette bed can easily handle two kids and the cot one for a total of three. We have even had an adult and one kid on the lower dinette bed and a kid in the cot. The cot could hold a small adult but at 6' 215# I won't be sleeping there. The cot is a strong woven fabric suspended between two sets of poles and it is quite comfortable. You dip down under your own weight and the poles kind of act like rails to keep you from failing out. The kids love it with a sleeping bag. FYI each pole is made up of two halves inserted together but we welded the pairs together to make them more sturdy. We store it under the bed by inserting it through the rear passengers side exterior access door.

Thanks for the picture! Sounds like I'll need to get the cot for the grandkids!
