So here’s a write up on Glenn and his career. He’s a wise, giving person who will share his knowledge with anyone and we’re proud to call Glenn and Leslie friends.

Thanks for posting the link to his career. Ah, the Gastown riots, I remember that night well.

Thanks for posting, Dave, and Ron. I always enjoy reading about some of our famous forum members. I also really enjoy stories of Vancouver…. I had never been there until I had my hitch installation at Trademasters and my Escape pickup was delayed by a couple days. I really enjoyed Vancouver!
Glenn took a lot of pictures that can be found via google. Just got lost down the rabbit hole of photos in Vancouver in the 70’s …….

Wishing you all the best, Glenn. Thank you for your contributions to the body of knowledge on this forum. I have good memories of several very lively discussions here back in the day...they still make me smile.

Back when we were looking at E 17’s, Glenn said “get a 19”. We didn’t but a year later realized that he was right and ordered one. I learned to follow his advice after that. Despite his reputation (deserved) for not suffering fools he was kind in answering my newbie questions. I think his patience held out as long as the grammar was good and the spelling correct.
Thanks Glenn for your comments and advice. Best wishes to you,
Catherine

Got me nailed there.
Have to apologize in advance for posting every random thought, but I’m stuck in my bedroom on a short oxygen hose with little else to entertain.

As I met Escape owners who used the Forum, I found that Glenn's comments were often notorious. After talking with one owner we met in a campground, she glared at me and said 'are you Baglo?" I laughed and said, no, but I consider him to be a fine friend and person I have been lucky enough to meet. Dave, Leon and I tried often to get Glenn and Leslie to make a trip to the Midwest to visit us all, but could never entice him into the long drive. The eight of us at the brew pub during the Osoyoos rally and the quest for Leon's ice wine were a highlight of that Rally for me. Glenn's stories of his experiences could even get Dave to stop talking long enough to listen.

Always enjoyed you comments Glenn. Some of them, actually made me think.
All the best to you and the old Bag.

Glenn, remember the wisdom your father imparted to you. Hope to meet you someday in much better circumstances.

FYI. Pat of Pat and Linda sent a private message, but are set to not accept private messages so I can’t respond.
