Personal Business Cards
Been watching a lot of television today. Relaxing during ONE day of this Labor Day weekend. There's been a number of VistaPrint commercials on.
So... I started working on my personal business card. You know the kind you hand out to folks at egg gatherings, to people ETI refers to view your trailer and to folks you just want to stay in touch with.
Let's see yours... this is my new one.

I prefer to call them Retired Cards!
And yes we are related - just not close enough to do any good. But we are allowed to buy their products in the grocery store.

Donna - your Escape and truck make a really sweet looking combination.

Come on... let's see 'em. Mine show pickup day in Sumas!
Like your cards Jamman Doug and Karen!
You'll note I didn't put any personal information on my card. Once they leave your hand, you don't know WHERE they'll end up. I will write my personal email address on the back, IF I think it's needed. Otherwise, folks can join the forum (here or FiberglassRV and send me a PM).
Ian, I noticed that's a recent pic of your Boler because of the "screen door," SWEEET!

Good eye Donna, picture from Beverly Beach Oregon
I don't worry too much about "gmail" account, I have several personal email accounts that I do screen who I hand them out to.

I have about 50 business cards provided by ETI with their information and with space on the back to write-in your name.

Mine is my favorite photo of Lake McDonald at Glacier National Park (US). I have the contact information on the back. I even have an 18" wide vinyl version attached to the back of the trailer.

Beautiful photo Jon. I'd love to see a larger version of it.

Very cool card, Donna D. And Ian G and Jon, too. More of us eggies will have to get them.
Eric, you had the greatest photo on the Escape calendar. Mirror image of a mountain on the side of the Escape.

Great idea for a card Donna.
The US Escapees will recognize Bob's Burgers in Sumas in the background

Looks good Donna. Nice use of the parking lot foreground as text background.
I think the term for these non-business cards would be "visiting cards".
I completely agree with leaving most personal information off of the card. I have even had business cards (actually for business) with no street or mailing address: aside from the issue of keeping up with moves, if someone legitimately needs that they can ask for it by e-mail, just as Donna intends for recipients to use a PM through this forum.

I got mine from mini-moo - they're half-size.
I have parts of a few watercolors of mine on one side and my contact info on the other side.
Interesting point about how much info to provide - I don't give my address, but do list my phone number. I might drop that for the next set of cards.
And I'll probably swap out the paintings for new ones and add a trailer picture or two.
I find that I hand out a fair number of cards - either camping or while sketching on location.
Great topic Donna!

Yo Anne, we have to SWAP cards at a gathering! I collect biz cards from trailer folks like some people collect baseball cards. And, I'd love to have one with one of your paintings on it!

Nice paintings, Anne.
I used to have some business cards that listed my occupation as 'bicycle tourist' and my title as 'chief retirement officer'. They listed my address, phone, email and had a pointer to my journal on crazyguyonabike.com. My rationale was that all the information was available on the white pages. And taped or attached the cards to anything I might lose while touring -- my cell phone, glasses case, iPad, etc. but now I need to get some more cards made. I like the idea of a photo on the cards
