Scheduling a pick up date
. It would be nice to schedule a pick up date at the end of September as we want to reserve some camping on the Oregon coast. A two week notice won't do a lot with us living in New Mexico. We are now hoping to just get lucky.

I fear I'll regret asking this, but perhaps you could more fully explain what ETI is offering you in the way of scheduling that is problematic?
Given ~September of this year, you obviously already have a GCD (Guaranteed Completion Date) or a revised GCD offer? And ETI still provides up to 30days storage after GCD at no cost, correct? Where does "a two week notice" enter into that?

Timely post
What a timely post. Our GCD was changed and we had not heard about a new delivery date, so I reached out to ETI today and already received a response. They will set up a new delivery date and email me, probably tomorrow. Also in the email response was the following:
"We generally confirm delivery dates 2 weeks prior to the completion date."
That is probably where the OP is getting the 2 weeks from.

We are now planning to just delay our trip visiting family along the way. We'll probably put everything off for an additional two weeks. I would not think that it could be delayed past the two weeks.

It depends. As long as supply line shortages exist, it could be delayed or you might have to take an alternative item or have something sent later if you can't wait.

We were also told that they confirm the delivery date 2 weeks in advance. We put in our request for a delivery date (2 weeks after the GCD) well in advance (2 months before GCD). While they could not guarantee it, they did record it. And, we were able to get the delivery as we had planned. We made all the reservations months in advance as well. Though there was a risk that our delivery could be delayed, we felt that the grace period gave us some cushion. It went according to plan.

I always thought May was the preferred pick up date, to coordinate with the yearly Escape Rally in Osoyoos?

Great, hope to see you there, I have until then to plan a great pick up and delivery in Chilliwack and then a leisurely tow over to Osoyoos. Counting the days.......my completion is May, 2, 2022.........

Great! Our pick up has already happened. We hope to make it to Osoyoos next year, but will only know a bit closer to the date. My current major project is supposed to end before then but these things slip too often to be certain...
