Sitting here on a 757 at 33,000 feet somewhere between Bogota Colombia and Miami, surfing and talking trailers. Excuse me but I work in IT, I'm surrounded by everything techie, and I still think that's cool.

I can appreciate what your saying. I have a three tablets that let me access the answers to any crazy question that pops into my mind day or night. I used to be a researcher on Capitol Hill back in the days when you could go into the stacks in the Jefferson Building in the Library of Congress (3 short blocks from my office) to find answers to my employers questions. Today, I flip open my iPads and within 30 seconds, I can be a short-term expert on literally anything. Amazing, isn't it?
(And since you appear to like a good quote, here's my favorite: "Freedom is the byproduct of economic surplus." -Anurian Beavin )

Old school. Sometimes 'inefficiency' is a virtue. I just love the smell of all those old books.
