Can basic thermostat be upgraded?

We have the basic cheap thermostat on the furnace. The tiny on-off switch is too stiff for my wife and you really can’t dial in temps within 5 degrees. (Furnace works great tho.)
Could it be replaced with a digital model? Any suggestions? (No AC, putting in a mini-split soon.)

This is what I installed. It also doesn't go "Clack" "BOING", waking you up.

Thank you sir. I was hoping it should be that easy. Any issues with the battery in a mobile, vibrating environment?

I don't understand the question. I've had no issues.

I’ve had some replacement thermostats over the years that had battery contact issues. And they were in static locations.

No issues. Save the instructions.

It's almost embarrassing that they still put that cheap archaic thermostat in trailers.

I've replaced 3 of them in 3 different trailers. No, they're not affected by the trailer environment.

The nicest thing in the 19, with the thermostat right by the bed, is that because the digital thermostat gives a little beep for every degree change, is that you don't even have to open your eyes to change the temperature.

Arrow furnace-only thermostat replacement option

FYI this post describes one easy to install & operate digital option:

https://www.escapeforum.org/forums/f...tml#post399865

A quick click of the link in that post indicates the thermostat I used is still currently available.

Just for your consideration, Have Fun!
