Lagun table improvement
As many have done and documented, I bought the Lagun table system to mount the standard table in our 21. However, I made two modifications.
1. I extended the slide movement by removing the screws ETI installed and added stop blocks into the base and table to offer several more inches of slide. This does create a little bit of more instability when extended to the max.
2. I made a shorter horizontal bar for the table. The standard aluminum bar was too long and made it difficult to position the table as I wanted.
Since I am a woodworker and not a metal worker I used a piece of oak about 12" long. The holes are 10" apart. The holes are 25MM and not 1". I needed slightly longer bolts and reused the adjustable nuts provided with the table.
This new configuration offers a wide range of table movement and positioning.

Bob...is there any chance you could add a couple more photos with your mod installed? Perhaps before and after if available?
I've got a Lagun rig that I'll be installing as soon as the weather gets a little warmer and consistent. If I can see your modification working for me, I'll follow in similar fashion.
Thanks in advance for anything you can provide.

I'm on the road, but will post a few more photos when I get a chance to take them.

Here is additional information and pictures of my Lagun table mount on the 21C with u-shaped dinette.
I cut the hatch door in half to allow easier access. Also, I would recommend having the back cushion divided into two cushions if you are ordering new. This costs extra, but would make getting into the hatches easier.
To mount the Lagun pedestal, I reinforced the back of the cabinet with 3/4" plywood. I cut a piece to entirely fill behind the thin veneer panel. I used construction adhesive to bond. I also added a larger cross piece to help stabilize the front panel.
I mounted the Lagun plate as shown and bolted through another piece of 1/2" plywood.
On the underside of the standard table, I screwed an aluminum plate to replace the formica ETI installed. I removed the slide stop screws and added wooden blocks to give me more travel.
The shorter cross piece is needed to reduce the swing radius of the top. A smaller table top would probably let the Lagun cross piece work.

Mine is the standard (21.5") and it is the right height the 27.5 would be too high.

Thanks for the update and photos. To use a much used cliche, a picture speaks a thousand words.
