Magnetic Screen Door

Has anyone tried one as a substitute (or in addition to) the roller screen in the classic. I've had to replace one because of dog issue and would not like to replace another. A friend has one on her patio door and it works beautifully...especially for the dog.

One would have to mount steel strips all along the doorway to catch the magnets. Sounds like a bit of a project.

I've replaced the screen door on my 2016 21C due to dog issues, then ordered another replacement for "just in case". I've since added two other things: stenciled some dragonfly designs onto the screen at eye level so humans know its there, cut out a piece of pegboard that I can set in front of the screen on the inside so dogs don't crash through.

One other thing I've thought about but have not tried is replacing the stock door height privacy curtain with some type of curtain screen material.

I thought the rolling screen was a cool feature when we bought the trailer, but now I wish we had more of the standard screen / door setup installed on the newer Escapes. I know this would not have been possible on the older trailers due to rounded shell's and "aircraft" doors.

It works perfectly in my neighbors patio door. Dog just flies through it and it snaps shut.
