The whole point of a screen door is to let the breeze in, and to keep the bugs out. So I have never understood why neither of my two molded-fiberglass campers had
springs on the screen doors. You know that
everyone, kids and grown-ups, leaves doors open.
Back in 2016, when we got our 2013 Casita, the first thing I did was to install springs. So last month, right after we got our 2019 Escape, I ordered another set of the same Camco springs, and installed them as soon as we got to our daughter's place in Virginia:

My second mod on the Casita was a square of hardware cloth at the bottom of the screen door, to keep our old dog Ali from tearing the screen. But we have no dog now, so I can forgo that one. On order: a paper-towel holder.
