Another advantage to the home amplifiers is the use of the RG6 coax with F connections. The mobile units from weBoost use SMB connectors which allow a small RG58 coax cable. The RG6 on home systems use the same coax as cable tv and sat with readily available ports that can be placed on trailers. With the mobile amplifier units the antenna is attached to the cables and doesn't allow switching of antenna types (omni and YAGI.) As far as I can tell there are no ports readily available for the SMB connectors, but I'm certainly not an expert in this.

4G LTE Signal Booster
Same here, I got one for free from T-Mobile about 10 years ago and it helps bring the best signal from an upstairs window and broadcast it downstairs. T-Mobile has gotten stronger in this area since then so it might not even be necessary for me anymore.
I'm not sure they make them available any more though. I don't see the link to get the free one anymore, and just this note on the setup page. "Signal boosters are discontinued and no longer available for purchase."

AT&T offered Microcell to customers which used an internet connection to make calls. They discontinued in 2018 as newer phones can do that on their own.
