Wasp deterrent bug screen installs

I live in the panhandle of Florida and like many places, wasps are a continuous problem. I found that the Valterra RV bug screen designed for the fridge vents installs and works well on my new 5.0TA camper. I believe this kit came with just six tire wraps which were not enough. Luckily, I had a small bag that worked to hold the screen panels more securely. Once the screen panels were installed I ran a bead of white Calkin at the edges to ensure no bugs would get in.

I also installed the Camco flying insect screen FUR500 over the furnace exhaust. The kit comes with two springs that you’ll need needle nose pliers to maneuver in the place. For the last step, I used type 304 soft stainless safety wire to secure the screen to the furnace exhaust.

Buck,
Did you notice the row of screws behind the cover that the inner compartment is mounted?
I removed one and drilled a hole between the two plastic secure tabs on the exterior cover and reinserted from the outside. A extra measure of safety to prevent the loss of your refer vent cover while on the road.

Thanks Jim for the suggestion. Looking at the small plastic clips that hold the panel in place, I can see where these bolts will help.
