21NE weighed empty?

Has anyone ever weighed their trailer empty and loaded?
Empty tongue weight and axles
Loaded water, propane, solar, and gear, tongue and axles?
Just curious if the trailer weight is accurate
Thanks for your help

What any specific trailer weighs empty will only apply to that trailer. The information is of no use to others for comparison. Depends on options etc.
If you are wondering if the "dry weight" listed is accurate, it's not likely that any trailer comes in at the dry weight, which is totally stripped down to basics unit. You can compare loaded for camping weights by looking up Trailer Weights in the Real World, or, I'm sure Jon will provide a link shortly.

Weight is specific to the trailer... but the options are known, and their weight can be reasonably estimated, so it is possible to back up to the base configuration with a usable degree of accuracy.

As-loaded weights are far less useful than dry weights for planning, since the person with the trailer which was weighed could have a very different amount of stuff in the trailer, distributed in any location. It is far more useful to take a dry and empty weight (if it is accurate) and add your specific fluids and stuff than to take a random person's trailer and guess that it might be loaded like yours.

Dry weights published before an Escape model goes into production have not been accurate in the past. The 2016 generation change was an example of this. Getting an actual dry and empty weight of a real production unit - with known options - would be a valuable check on (or correction to) the published spec.

So, are you going to buy an actual dry and empty Escape and let us know the weight?

Not any time soon, but if you clean out your vintage 17B some day you could weigh it and validate the specs for that year.

Except that it has optional 12V outlets and range cover.
