Cushion arrangement on the 19 dinette to bed

OK should have tried this long ago. Decided to set up the front dinette in our 19 as a bed. Can’t get the cushions to lay flat! Surely we are doing something wrong. Figured we might be able to get a quick answer.

It does take some pressure to get those cushions in there in the beginning. We lined everything up and, when the middle cushions made somewhat of a teepee, I then pushed them down together and they (reluctantly) went into place.

If there wasn't that tight of a gap, it would be uncomfortable as a mattress.

You can see how it is done in the old orientation video at 14:00. You’ll see he struggles too and has to try again.
