It is done!
Got the repaired window a couple days ago, finished the re-install this morning. Had considered replacing the entire unit but that was crazy expensive. No way cutting tempered glass myself was possible.
Duncan/Lippert (they bought Hehr) wanted $386.88 plus tax and shipping. Parkin Accessories never responded to my submitted order form.
Took it to Dwight's Glass and Mirror in ABQ. They did the repair. It took 4 weeks, mainly because their subcontractor didn't match the glass tint and had to do it over. Dwight's took care of me. Happy to pay $135.06 (tax included).
I used butyl tape to seal/waterproof the exterior frame. One length around. Other great news is after 4 weeks I didn't lose any of the screws.

Kudos Myron (and Dwight's in ABQ)
Sorry for your hassle but thanks for the experience-sharing, may help some of us cut-to-the-chase in the future

Why do some businesses bother with a website when they don't respond to customer requests for info?
Anyway, good job done.
