On occasion.

I use the tablet as an extension of my instrument panel, glancing at it occasionally. It's not like I watch movies on it while I'm driving or anything like that. I'm pretty careful.

I have yet to figure out how to download an app to our rotary dial phone. I must be doing something wrong.... Seriously, I think my wife and I are the only two people left on this planet who don't have a "smart" anything. Well, except for our female German Shepherd. We think she's actually quite intelligent but too modest to reveal it. Or she's just toying with us....

We had a rotary dial phone and dial up internet until about a year ago when they ( Phone Company) FORCED us to change. We have OTA TV , with 15 channels on a good day and 2 or 3 on a bad.
( Depends on the weather and if there's leaves on the trees ) We heat with wood and still have an outhouse. I don't need a phone that is so smart that I can not figure out how to operate it . I also find no need to monitor everything in my life and keep record of it . It's just not that important or interesting to me and especially to others. When I am gone my memories will go with me as they should

But you must have magic then. It is the only way to explain how your words got on this forum.

Hi: War Eagle... I think the "Smart" thing to do is leave all those things for the kids to figure out, and leave us old folks to wander!!! Alf

We do have a computer that somehow talks to other people over our TV cable (like magic), but it must not be too smart because it won't do half the stuff I try to make it do. Where is a six-year-old when you need one...

But Pat,
You're also within about 35 miles from Mt. Wilson, where all the L.A. TV transmitters are. Just try reception at over 60 miles away, where signals disappear!

So, we just have to watch what Frontier (formerly Verizon) thinks we should have . (We did get to watch Nascar, today. What a heartbreaker for Harvick.)

After watching the Daytona 500 last week, I have an idea to make NASCAR even more 'exciting'. Half the cars go clockwise and half go anti-clockwise.

New 21 Fridge is fine

We used our new fridge last fall when camping at a music festival in Palm Springs. We were using shore power on a polo grounds with no shade with daily temps over 90 degrees each day. Fridge and freezer stayed nice and cold.

We don't have good luck running on battery. Even if we only use it while towing, it significantly drains the batteries.

We had the fridge fan installed by ETI "just in case" but haven't used it yet.

Interesting, I have always used "Counter-clockwise", never heard of anti-clockwise...must be
a regional thing.

I've always thought a figure-eight track banked for 200 mph racing would add an interesting twist to NASCAR. The cross-traffic intersection would test a whole new aspect of driver reflexes.

Maybe your kitchen was spinning?

I have actually heard both but "anti" is what I use too. You Easterners talk funny, eh!

You forgot we are right up against the hills . When we moved here in1974 we were lucky to get 2 stations with a nearly new expensive Wineguard antenna that worked well in the valley . When the government mandated HD for locals ,now we even get even PBS from your way . More then one .There are lot's of sub stations which they keep increasing . Like reg. 5.1, then you get 5.2,5.3,5.4 etc. lot's of cool stations . I have lost count of the stations we now have . A few like CBS if it is pouring rain we can loss that station . The antenna's we have are directional with a amplified signals with shielded cables . You should give it a try . That is the dirty little secret they tell you and don't want you to know the truth. Figure we have saved about 7000 now . We also have a Roku player get so much TV , you can't possibly watch this much . We have been a cord cutter now for 6-7 years . The HD signals are digital and not analog like we use to have . They come in a lot better . More antenna's are going up in our neighborhood . Don ,I don't even get any compensation for this . Pat

Jim we have broad band for Internet from Att . However always looking for anything better and cheaper . The TV was getting too pricey . Was at the dentist recently while I was waiting they handed me the controller . I couldn't believe all the commercials since we left . Used to be commercial free when it started out . Also got tired supplementally new customers and trying to get 10 a month off the bill . Pat

Your battery experience is pretty much everyone's. We do not even consider doing that. Someone did do well once using their solar and batteries while towing.

Hola Nancy! We have the DM2663LBX model fridge on our 2017 21' bumper pull trailer and we have not had any cooling issues yet. We have had the setting on "3" since we picked it up in March. We have not hit the 80s yet, but we will probably do so next week. I will monitor for changes in cooling.
