I don't think it's a matter of over / underkill .... it looks to me like they're all very similar in terms of fabrication and metal gauge, many seem to use a rolled-up perimeter which would add effective rigidity to the foot plate, I suspect any would serve on our 5.0 even if needing to support with just one leg (BTDT, temporarily).
Just curious, did your OE foot plate bend due to pressing on something uneven on the ground while jacking, or because it hit something while driving? I know in the latter case I'd rather have to replace a bent foot than have a too-strong foot plate transfer the load of a 'hit' and damage the jack or it's post.
I think you're just gonna need to run with your best judgment / intuition and not over analyze this choice. Maybe economy is the ruling criteria in this case?
