The 6V LA batteries supplied by ETI will need to be occasionally topped off with distilled water.
I don't find the required battery maintenance too difficult to do. Both batteries in my trailer required a few ounces each after 3 months of use. A dollar store turkey baster worked well.
We don’t have an inverter or any large draws, and I’ve only needed to add a bit of (distilled) water two times in three years…we use the trailer around 60 - 70 days per year. We leave them in place all winter and the solar panel seems to protect it well (we had -5F last winter).
I did notice a mosquito in one of the cells last time I opened a battery up! 😳
