LED strip problems
We got our new 19 about 6 weeks ago. The LED strip didn't work correctly. It turned on and allowed me to control the brightness one time, then got stuck on high, and oddly, would not turn off at all . . . constant on. Clearly not good. In order to turn it off, I had to cut the power supply to the RF unit.
Dustin from Escape just sent me a replacement RF unit and a new remote. It's a real hassle replacing the thing inside the upper cabinets. It's hard working on wiring inside the small cabinet, but I got the new unit wired up and it does the exact same thing. Turned on. Let me use the dimmer remote to power up, then locked in the high intensity position and won't turn off.
Anybody have any ideas for a solution, short of replacing the sender and remote with a higher quality RF unit and remote? I assume any 12v replacement would work with the light strip - but perhaps not. I'm not an electrician.
