Removing Door Frosting

I have a first generation 19 (2014) and want to remove the privacy frosting from the entry door. Most online instructions recommend starting at the edge of the frosting, but that doesn’t seem to be accessible. Rather than screwing this up, I was wondering how others handled this challenge. Thanks!

It's glass so there's not too much danger of damage if you have to use a tool to pick at the edge to get enough loose to grab.

Mine came off in one piece without any difficulty.

I also installed an inside acrylic storm window.

Also, if you apply a little heat with a hair drier, it will come off a little easier and leave less residue to be cleaned off later.
