Removing microwave temporarily?

I think it looks fairly obvious- I want to open up the microwave cabinet just enough to add a short extension cord- I would like to be able to plug the microwave into a Jackery battery from inside when needed, or plug into the extension cord which goes into the inner outlet that currently receives the microwave plug.

It looks like I can remove those tabs (top picture) and move the microwave enough to move cords around. Anyone know if that's true? Then replace the microwave but now the end of the short extension cord and the end of the microwave cord would be accessible from the front. A. shows microwave plugged into extension cord. B would be microwave plugged into battery.

I'm sure there is a more elegant solution which I might pursue if this turns out to be useful but right now I'm going for quick and dirty. I could plug the whole trailer into the Jackery (with adapter) but it's going to be raining so that's not a great solution.

And how long is the cord on the microwave? I guess I'll know if I start doing it...
