Toilet is leaking in the very back of toilet
Hi Everyone,
I got a real problem. My toilet has developed a leak in the very back, against the wall.
I can't see it because my fat head keeps hitting the wall. I tried using a mirror and that did help a little.
Worse, I cannot get a wrench back there. The leak is substantial and it causes the pump to run every so often. There is a stream of water coming from underneath the toilet and it fills up the bathroom well pretty fast (overnight).
Does anyone know how to adjust this fitting to stop the leak? I am hoping I do not have to take the toilet off.
Thank you.

I recently had the same problem with my 19 foot'er. Assumed it was the valve leaking, but turned out to be the hose fitting was cracked. Cheap repair, and an opportunity to add a much needed shutoff valve to the toilet water supply line. Your toilet will have to come off, which is pretty simple. Two bolts. I replaced the gasket which may or may not have been necessary.

The toilet shut off valve option was $26 on my build sheet, well worth it!

You might be able to slip a cell phone into an area that you can take a video of the drip.

If you are lucky it’s just a loose supply line but more than likely it’s a cracked flush valve. Not hard to replace but you need to remove the toilet.

Okay, I think this fix was easy.
The supply lines were only hand tightened. One little push and it turned. I cleaned the fittings, wrapped some teflon tape around the male fittings on both connections.
Took the female connector past hand tightening but not to full stop. I do not want to crack the fittings.
Tightened the two bolts holding the toilet on and turned on the pump. No leaks! So far.
Testing over night. The well is dry so we shall see.
Thanks to everyone. Taking off the toilet is way easy.
I might buy the flush valve anyway and keep it around.

Nice work! Glad it was just a loose supply line.
