Travails in the Tetons
On my annual fall trip thru YNP & Tetons, had a furnace issue. Blower would start then shut down w/o ignition. Spent a couple of chilly nights. Cleaned sail switch then replaced it to no avail. Finally contacted a mobile rv tech out of Jackson hole. He couldn’t come til the next day so another cold night. Thank goodness for warm bedding.
Bob came out today & did the following…tested both sail switches (both good) removed circuit board & found a connection that needed a tighter crimp. Eureka, the furnace now works. So instead of taking advantage of me by replacing sail switch & circuit board, he simply fixed it. While here he also tightened the range burner plate & put in a toilet shut off valve.
