On page 3 of the warranty it states what is not covered by the limited warranty – Equipment, products, components, appliances, or accessories not manufactured by ETI.
My naivite I guess. I wasn't aware that ETI did not stand behind anything beyond the shell and cabinets.

The reason that this works out is that those components are covered by their own warranties. As various owners have reported, ETI often helps owners get warranty assistance from component manufacturers.

I gather I was very fortunate those more major problems occurred prior to the sale.
This is only one instance I recognize, but it sure implies ETI is no longer a customer oriented firm.

The warranty has not changed with the ownership change; components were not covered by the ETI warranty previously. The degree of assistance from ETI probably varies with the individual staff member handling the request; my guess is that this is a larger factor than company ownership.
